This page exists to inspire and make one realize that travelling to your neighbouring town can be just as rewarding as travelling overseas and to change the mindset of people who think we have only travelled well, if we have flown overseas. This is close to my heart because it was my downfall in 2017 where i also felt discouraged for not travelling over the seas. However in 2018, i have changed my mindset and have started exploring towns that are nearby to me and to my amazement i have found happiness in the journey.

Whale Season: Experience the Whale Festival at Hermanus this September!

It’s almost that time of the year again where people will be flocking to Hermanus in the Western Cape, to celebrate and enjoy the sighting of the Southern Right Whales. The whale festival is an annual event that is held for 3 days at the end September each year in Hermanus, with people coming from far and wide to attend this event.
